It took yearssssssss  for Disagree band To Prevent The Earth From Moving With You.  Whaaa..? Prevent what from what? That’s right. Disagree has officially launch their new album (that’s quite a long title to remember in full, but anyway, who dares to Disagree…? ).

Hits such as ‘Crumbs’ from their first album  ‘At The End of The Day’ (2004), substantiate their recognition in the Malaysian English music scene. Yours truly was perhaps among thousands of others out there who never  thought that Disagree was a local band when listening to their song and hearing the band name for the first time. Aha! This is it! This is something that we should have more in the industry.

Since their 1st album was launched and after several years of promotions and touring, Disagree is now up again with a new direction.

Today, on 30th June 2009, Disagree officially hit the scene again with their 2nd album. We were at Hard Rock Cafe for the Press Conference.The band performed 6 songs from their latest album, including The One, Haley and Osaka. Here’s some photos from their showcase. Both Fadhil and Aziel were invited as a media representative to witness the last Pesta Malam Indonesia 3 which was held in Car Park A, Stadium Bukit Jalil. Here are some photos from the concert :

We love teaser! And we love to tease our viewer with a sneak preview of our shots, especially wedding shots (I know some of you have been hoping to catch a glimpse at this couple’s wedding shots by now… ) Here’s a shot  from a portraiture session for Inspector Fazree (a.k.a. Rocket) and Noreen (a.k.a. Connie). This police officer must have been a rockstar for being known as ‘Rocket’ .  Even his wife calls him by that name.

A short story behind the portraiture session -  after we wrapped up the session and about to make a move from the location, Rocket realised that he left his car key at one of our shooting locations that evening. Fadhil and Rocket went back to the location but they didn’t find the keys. So, Noreen and I stayed back while Fadhil drove Rocket back to his house to check on a spare key. In between the search and attempts to ‘break-in’ the car, I stayed with Connie, chatting, while answering some questions from passers-by, somewhat  like this :

Question 1 : “Are you from production house?”

Question2 : ” Are you really married or a model?”

Question 3 : ” Ini betul-betul kawin ke tipu-tipu?”

Lebih kurang macam tu lah soalan-soalan yang kami jawab dengan jawapan standard : ” Kawin betul-betul…” dengan senyum … Macam mana mereka tak tanya macam tu, the bride was sitting on a 2-steps ladder, dengan pedang yang berkilat (dalam sarungnya, of course, dan ya, sarungnya berkilat), dan berkaki ayam . Agak confusing, kan? Plus, did I mention that Noreen does look like a model in a few shots taken that day? (I bet you get even more excited to see the final images while reading this, huh..? hihihihih.. ) Anyway, Rocket and Noreen, you guys memang rock! .

We haven’t been writing in the blog lately, since Aziel and Fadhil has got their very own separate blog now (in case you don’t know or would like to know, Fadhil’s at www.belajarkamera.com , Aziel’s at azielazhar.cheritapictures.com ). However, we will still continue updating this blog from time to time with our current updates, as frequent as possible.

This time, we bring to you a few shots from a recent birthday party. Chris and Juliana are twins and this is the second time that we were given the opportunity to photograph their birthday celebration. The kids are gorgeous! Last year, when they celebrated their 1st birthday, it was a lot easier to capture them together in photos. This year they’ve grown 1 year older so you can imagine how children at this age could be so active and always eager to explore their surroundings. Wow, what a challenge and it was fun! Hello, Hello! Gong Xi Fa Chai!!! Wishing all of you a properous year of Ox..!!! Gong Xi Ni..

Phewww… We are about to say goodbye to January 2009, and I must say that this January has been a great kickstart for us in Cherita Pictures; an energetic one. When most of you are resting with your family, watching your favourite movie or doing your ritual shopping (oh, I miss that), or cuti-cuti Malaysia (cuti panjang Tahun Baru Cina, and, boy, aren’t we Malaysian so lucky to be a multi-cultural nation), we on this side of the world were envious of you! Hihihii.. No, lah. But I guess, some of you who know me, will notice that I have not update my Flickr for quite a while, and have not write any new post in forums. *sigh*… will surely get back on track a.s.a.p.

We even have a few new web gallery uploaded (and a few more in queue) but haven’t get the chance to blog about it. I promise I’ll blog about it, because I’ve made a resolution not to be a bad blogger anymore .  So for today, kawan-kawan, I’ll blog about Dagang Net Technologies (DNT) Family Day 2008, which was held in Selesa Beach Resort, Port Dickson on 10th & 11th January 2009.  The event was soooo awesome, I still can smile and laugh each time I looked at the photos that we took during the event .

Anyway, they sure know how to have fun, and enjoy themselves… Best sangat..Saya pun rasa nak menari sama… tapi by that time, tapak kaki saya dah rasa macam makin menipis je, sebab banyak berdiri… So, saya menari dalam mimpi jelah malam tu…..

Haa…amacam? dah puas tengok gambar sampai lebam? Padan muka. Saya memang balas dendam sebab dah lama tak blog. hihihihiii… Nak lagi, silakanlah ke web gallery.
